Reports To: Electrical Equipment Assembly Supervisor
Position Summary: Assemble electrical products by following work
instructions and bills of materials in accordance with product quality
and assembly rate requirements.
Specific Responsibilities:
Read diagrams, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine
material requirements and assembly instructions.
Position, align, and adjust sub-components and devices to facilitate
assembly.
Assemble complete devices from sub-components (ex. screws, springs,
plastic parts, gaskets, lamps).
Adjust, repair, or replace sub-components to correct defects and
to ensure conformance to specifications.
Inspect and test devices for proper operation and record results.
Label and package components and assemblies so inventory can be
tracked and identified.
Confer with supervisors to plan and review work activities and to
resolve production/assembly problems.
